Max Shepherd lives in Hertfordshire, England with his wife, two sons, and a lunatic spaniel who promises to sit down (one day). In the midst of various pursuits: Ancient history academia, horticulture in all its guises, climbing, youth rugby coaching, chess, and a lifelong love of reading, Max spends his time writing sci-fi and fantasy.
